Vintage Sterling Silver pixie brooch. These cute creatures are called by many names, Imp, Pixie, Fairy, Brownie, etc. This particular one has a pair of beautiful Abalone shell wings. Playful raised eyebrows, pointed ears, curled up pointed toes and a cap add to the look. He/she wears a textured tunic and matching cap. The wings are large and thick and the whole piece is cast of sterling silver. Unmarked by most likely attributed to Cyvra Jewelers who made similar items and were in business throughout the 1950's , 1960's and beyond.
