These etched glass bells made by Libby for the 1893 Columbian Chicago Worlds Fair were made as souvenirs to commemorate the 400 year anniversary of Christopher Columbus's arrival to the New World. This bell is in perfect condition including its original metal clapper. There is a star cut into the top of the twisted glass handle. Embossed in the glass around the top of the bell is "World's Columbian Exposition 1983. the face of the bell features the etched words "Worlds Fair 1893" surrounded by fern leaves, flowers, and a banner.
