This rare deck of playing cards is in its original packaging with a 1940 tax stamp on the packaging. Part of the plastic has been torn but the majority remains intact. The tax stamp dates this deck of cards to 1940 which was the last year tax stamps were used on playing cards. Unused and unopened this is a truly rare bit of history. A fabulous addition for any collector of Southern history, play cards, or women's history.
