Vintage Shell Necklace on Silk Cord

Stunning Miriam Haskell shell necklace on a silk cord. Designed by Frank Hess for Miriam Haskell this fabulous necklace from the 1930's features large pearl umbonium sea shells and tiny seed pearls attached to a flat braided silk cord. Each shell has four seed pearls hand sewn on, two on each side, then the shells are hand stitched to the silk cord. The necklace has three hand carved pearl buttons and a loop end allowing it to adjust as you choose. This amazing and rare piece will only become more valuable with time.
