Vintage Toledo Spain Damascene Fan Brooch

Originally purchased in Toledo Spain in the early 1970s, this beautiful brooch has never been worn. It depicts two birds among multiple flowers and leaves. The birds are slightly offset and facing each other, there is a large flower dominating the right side of the fan shape. This piece is unmarked and was part of the tourist trade of the era. The back is finished in a textured gold-tone metal with a trombone clasp.

Toledo damascene jewelry is made using 18 or 24 karat gold.
