Originally purchased in the 1970s in Toledo Spain. Damascene jewelry is made by a process of inlaid metals. Toledo Spain is well known for its style of inlay. These simple button earrings feature a pattern of four equal spaces divided by a gold dotted X. Each space has a delicate shield embedded in it. They are clip-on style clasps that work very well.
